Terms of Use

Sundrift lets groups plan trips together: itineraries, polls, maps, photos, expenses, and invitations. Features may change, break, or pause while the product is in beta. We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice when we can.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK if that is the age of digital consent where you live). You are responsible for your login, including Google, X, or email credentials, and for activity under your account. Keep your contact details current so trip invites and alerts can reach you.

You and your fellow travelers own the content you add — itineraries, polls, photos, chat notes, expenses, and location pins (“User Content”). You grant Sundrift a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for your trip (including to people you invite). You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload, including photos of other people.

Trip admins control membership, invitations, and some settings (who’s going, push triggers). Don’t share invite links more widely than you intend. Public recap links, if you enable them, can be viewed without an account.

Sundrift may send invite texts and email through our connected Twilio and email providers, on behalf of a trip organizer. Those messages come from Sundrift, not from each trip’s admin. You must have permission to text or email the numbers and addresses you enter. Standard carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to SMS where that is supported by the sending number.

Do not use Sundrift to harass anyone, upload unlawful or infringing material, probe or disrupt the Service, scrape other travelers’ data, or send spam. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

How we collect and use personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Location data (map pins, place search) is used to run trip maps, not to sell advertising.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDRIFT DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that itineraries, maps, costs, or weather will be accurate or that alerts will arrive.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNDRIFT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST TRIPS, BOOKINGS, DATA, OR PROFITS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. Some places do not allow these limits; they apply only to the extent allowed.

You will defend and indemnify Sundrift against claims arising from your User Content, your use of SMS/email to contact others, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent we caused the harm.

You may stop using the Service and delete trips you administer. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. Provisions that should survive (including 7–9) do so.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding conflict of law rules. Courts in Orange County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may have additional rights that cannot be waived where you live (including EEA/UK consumer rights).

We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, give additional notice in the app when practical. Continued use after the update is acceptance.
